Mixed perennials
A handful of hardy perennials we'd plant in our own borders — long-flowering and loved by the bees.
From our greenhouse to your garden. We grow healthy, local seedlings and cottage garden classics — for beginners, allotmenteers and seasoned gardeners alike.

Beginner pickTall, cheerful, easy
The classic kids-can-grow-it sunflower. Started off in pots so you skip the slug stage.
Our beds are seasonal. Here's what's ready, what's almost there, and what's only just been sown.
Sweet peas, hardy annuals, perennials
Tomatoes, courgettes, runner beans
Trailing baskets and tender herbs
Heritage chillies, scented sweet peas
Every plant is nurtured from seed or cutting right here in our back garden nursery.
What started as a few seed trays on the kitchen windowsill became a greenhouse, then a polytunnel, then a proper little nursery. The children help with sowing, labelling and watering — they're getting very good at telling a sweet pea seedling from a weed.

Plants we'd put in our own garden first. Available for collection this weekend.
TomatoVigorous early cropper
A reliable British favourite. Crops early, copes with our soggy Welsh summers and tastes properly of tomato.

Pre-orderScented climber
Tray of six seedlings hardened off in the polytunnel. Pinch them out and they'll romp away up a wigwam.
Family PickMint, rosemary, thyme & basil
Our most-loved kitchen four, potted up together so you can keep them by the back door and snip as you cook.
No jargon, no upsell. Just the things we wish we'd known when we started.
A pot of mint, a tomato plant, a basil. Small wins build confidence.
Plants drink up before the heat, and slugs are less interested in dry leaves.
Peat-free multipurpose is fine for most things. Save the special compost for the special plants.
